Feel the Heal has been operating in Miami since 2001 — over 23 years of clinical gut health experience. We were doing this work long before gut health became a mainstream conversation, and that depth of experience is reflected in everything we do.
Colon hydrotherapy, also called a colonic or colonic irrigation, is a professional therapeutic procedure that uses purified, temperature-controlled water to gently cleanse the large intestine. It is performed by a trained therapist using FDA-registered closed-system equipment in a completely private setting. A session typically takes 45 to 60 minutes from start to finish.
Yes. When performed by a trained professional using FDA-registered equipment, colon hydrotherapy is a safe and well-tolerated procedure. Feel the Heal has administered thousands of sessions over 23 years. We screen every client before treatment and will always let you know honestly if a colonic is not appropriate for your situation.
Most clients describe their colonic as comfortable, even relaxing. There may be brief moments of mild pressure or cramping as the water stimulates movement through the colon — similar to the feeling of needing to use the bathroom — but these pass quickly and are well-tolerated by the vast majority of clients, including first-timers. Most people are genuinely surprised by how easy the experience is.
During the session you will feel a gentle fullness as water fills the colon, followed by a deep sense of release during the releases. Many clients describe a progressive relaxation as the session goes on, and almost universally report feeling significantly lighter, less bloated, and clearer by the time it ends. The most common thing people say after their first colonic is that they wish they had done it sooner.
For general wellness and maintenance, once a month to once a quarter works well for most people. For active detox, during a parasite protocol, or for chronic digestive issues, a series of three to six sessions over several weeks delivers significantly more complete results. We work with every client individually to figure out what makes sense for their specific situation and goals.
Preparation makes a real difference in your results. We recommend staying well hydrated in the days before your appointment, avoiding heavy or gas-producing meals in the 24 hours prior, and arriving without having eaten for at least two to three hours before your session. We send full preparation instructions to every client when they book so nothing is left to guesswork.
A coffee enema is a therapeutic procedure in which organic coffee is introduced into the colon rectally and retained for approximately 12 to 15 minutes. When the coffee compounds — specifically caffeine and palmitates — are absorbed through the colon wall, they travel directly to the liver via the portal vein and trigger a powerful liver detox response, stimulating bile release and significantly boosting glutathione production. It is one of the most effective liver detox therapies available and has been used in integrative medicine for decades.
Not even close. Drinking coffee has a very different effect on the body than a therapeutic coffee enema. When coffee is administered rectally, it bypasses the digestive process entirely and its active compounds are delivered directly to the liver via the portal vein. The result is a liver detox response that oral coffee consumption simply cannot replicate.
People who do regular coffee enemas commonly report dramatic reduction in brain fog and mental fatigue, significant relief from headaches, improved mood and reduced anxiety, better and more sustained energy, clearer skin, reduced joint pain and inflammation, and a sense of deep systemic relief that is difficult to describe until you have experienced it. The liver is your body's primary detox organ — when it gets a proper flush, the downstream effects are felt everywhere.
A colonic works primarily in the large intestine — it is a mechanical cleanse that removes accumulated waste, rehydrates the colon, and stimulates peristalsis. A coffee enema works primarily through the liver — it is a chemical cleanse that triggers bile release, boosts glutathione, and drives a deep detoxification of your body's primary filtration organ. They are complementary therapies that address different layers of the same problem, which is why combining them is so powerful.
Yes — and it is actually our most recommended combination. We call it the Gut Detox Combo. The colonic goes first to open and cleanse the colon, then the coffee enema drives a deep liver flush through a freshly cleansed system. The result is significantly more powerful than either therapy alone and it is the single most requested service at Feel the Heal. Book the Gut Detox Combo at https://booking.mangomint.com/feeltheheal.
Yes, when performed correctly using appropriate organic coffee and proper technique. At Feel the Heal we use only certified organic, mycotoxin-free coffee formulated specifically for therapeutic use. We have been performing coffee enemas for over 23 years and walk every first-time client through the full process before anything begins.
Possibly — and more likely than most people think. The CDC estimates that tens of millions of Americans carry some form of intestinal parasite without knowing it. Standard medical testing is not optimized to detect low-level parasitic infections, which means most people never get a diagnosis even when parasites are contributing significantly to their symptoms.
Common signs that parasites may be contributing to your health issues include chronic bloating and gas, brain fog that doesn't respond to sleep or diet changes, fatigue that sleep doesn't fix, strong sugar and carb cravings, skin issues including acne and eczema, grinding your teeth at night, trouble sleeping especially around the full moon, mood instability, and digestive symptoms that come and go without a clear cause. If several of these sound familiar, a parasite cleanse is worth taking seriously.
The Take a Hike Parasite Protocol is Feel the Heal's comprehensive four-product parasite cleansing system, designed over 23 years of clinical gut health practice. It includes Bye O Film Biofilm Disruptor, Take a Hike Parasite Drops, Gut Binder, and Liver & Gallbladder Dissolver — each addressing a specific and essential phase of a complete parasite cleanse. It is available at https://feeltheheal.com/collections/detox-products.
Biofilm is a protective matrix that parasites and bad bacteria secrete around themselves to shield against your immune system and antiparasitic compounds. Most parasite cleanses fail or underperform because they skip biofilm disruption entirely — meaning the antiparasitic herbs can't reach their target. Bye O Film Biofilm Disruptor is the first step in the Take a Hike Protocol specifically because without it, everything else is compromised.
Die-off, or a Herxheimer reaction, is the toxic release that occurs when parasites and pathogenic organisms are killed during a cleanse. As they die they release metabolic waste and inflammatory compounds into your system, which can cause temporary fatigue, headaches, brain fog, and digestive symptoms. This is a sign the cleanse is working — not that something is wrong. Gut Binder is included in the Take a Hike Protocol specifically to bind and remove die-off toxins before they can be reabsorbed, making the process significantly more comfortable and more effective.
We recommend a minimum of one full lunar cycle — approximately 30 days ( 10 days on 10 days off, 10 days on) — because parasite reproductive cycles are tied to lunar patterns and you need to catch more than one generation for a thorough cleanse. Many clients choose to run two or three cycles for a more comprehensive result.
Absolutely. The Take a Hike Protocol is designed to be a complete standalone protocol that you can run from anywhere in the country. Many of our clients live outside Miami and do the full cleanse at home with excellent results. Shop the full kit at https://feeltheheal.com/collections/detox-products.
If you can, yes. A colonic during an active parasite cleanse physically flushes out what the protocol has been mobilizing — accelerating elimination, reducing die-off symptoms, and giving the cleanse a thoroughness that at-home methods alone can't match. It is one of the most powerful combinations we offer. Book at https://booking.mangomint.com/feeltheheal.

Bye O Film is a targeted biofilm-disrupting formula that breaks down the protective matrix that parasites and bad bacteria build around themselves. It is Phase One of the Take a Hike Parasite Protocol and the step that makes every other part of the cleanse more effective. Without it, antiparasitic compounds have significantly reduced access to their target.
Gut Binder is a broad-spectrum toxin-binding formula designed to capture the die-off — the toxic debris released when parasites and pathogens are killed during a cleanse — and escort it out of the body before it can be reabsorbed. It makes the parasite cleanse dramatically more comfortable and significantly more effective. It should be taken separately from other supplements and food for maximum effectiveness.
Liver & Gallbladder Dissolver is an herbal formula that supports liver detoxification function and promotes healthy bile flow throughout the cleanse. The liver is working overtime during any serious detox protocol — Liver & Gallbladder Dissolver keeps your drainage pathways open so that everything the cleanse is mobilizing has a clear path out of the body.
Yes. Each product in the Take a Hike line has standalone value beyond the parasite protocol. Gut Binder is useful during any detox or cleanse. Liver & Gallbladder Dissolver is excellent ongoing liver maintenance support. Bye O Film is relevant for anyone with chronic gut dysbiosis or stubborn digestive issues. That said, the products are designed to work as a system and deliver the best results when used together.
Yes. All Feel the Heal products are formulated with organic ingredients, made in small batches, and developed based on 23 years of clinical gut health experience. No fillers, no shortcuts.
