Frequently Asked Questions | Feel the Heal
Colon Hydrotherapy
How much does a colonic cost at Feel the Heal?
Pricing depends on the session type and any package you choose, so the most accurate number will always come from our booking page or a quick call — give us a shout at 305-466-9268 or book online and we’ll walk you through current pricing before you commit to anything.
Does colon hydrotherapy hurt?
Most clients describe it as more “unusual” than uncomfortable — think mild pressure and fullness, not pain. Our therapists work at your pace and check in throughout, especially if it’s your first time.
Is colon hydrotherapy safe?
We follow standard hygiene and safety protocols with single-use equipment, and our therapists are trained to screen for anyone who shouldn’t be doing the service that day. That said, we’re not a medical practice — if you have a diagnosed digestive condition, are pregnant, or take medication for a chronic condition, check with your doctor before booking.
How often should I get a colonic?
It really depends on why you’re coming in — some clients do a single session before a big event, others build it into a monthly routine. We’ll talk through your goals at your first visit and suggest a cadence from there rather than a one-size-fits-all answer.
What should I expect during my first colonic session?
Expect a private room, a therapist who walks you through the whole process before starting, and plenty of room to ask questions. Sessions typically run 30–45 minutes, and you’re in control the entire time.
What should I wear, and how do I prepare?
Come in something comfortable you don’t mind changing out of — we provide a gown for the session itself. We’ll usually suggest eating light beforehand and skipping anything too heavy right before your appointment; your therapist will give you specifics when you book.
Coffee Enemas
What are the benefits of a coffee enema?
Coffee enemas are a longtime staple of gut-health routines — many clients use them as part of a broader detox or reset practice. We’re careful not to overpromise here: it’s a wellness ritual, not a medical treatment, so we won’t tell you it cures anything specific. Learn more on our Enemas page.
Is a coffee enema safe?
Done correctly and with quality organic coffee (which is what we use, and what’s in our Organic Enema Coffee), most healthy adults tolerate it well. If you’re pregnant, have a heart condition, or are on medication, talk to your doctor first — this isn’t something to DIY your way into if you’re unsure.
What’s the difference between a professional enema session and doing one at home?
At-home kits (like ours) are built for people who already know their routine and want to keep it going between visits. In-studio, you get a therapist guiding the process, proper equipment, and someone to answer questions in real time — which is where most people start before doing it solo.
Parasite Cleanse
How do I know if I need a parasite cleanse?
Honestly — you don’t need a confirmed diagnosis to want a gut reset, and we’d never tell you online that you definitely have parasites (that’s between you and a doctor if you’re genuinely concerned, and testing exists for a reason). What we offer is a supportive protocol for people who want to give their gut a reset, whether or not anything’s “wrong.” Check out our Parasite & Detox page for more.
What’s included in the Take a Hike Parasite Protocol Kit?
The kit includes our parasite protocol drops, Bye O Film biofilm disruptor, Be Kind & Bind gut binder, and a reusable enema bag — everything you need to run the full at-home protocol in one box.
How long does the protocol take?
Timelines vary by person and how your body responds, so we’ll go over the full schedule when you purchase — it’s not a one-day fix, and we’d rather you go in with realistic expectations than a rushed version of the process.
Skincare
What’s the difference between a HydraFacial and a chemical peel?
A HydraFacial cleanses, exfoliates, and hydrates in one pass with almost no downtime — it’s the “glow before an event” treatment. A BioRePeel chemical peel goes deeper to address texture, tone, and fine lines, with a bit more visible peeling in the days after. We’ll help you pick based on your skin and your calendar. Browse all our Skin Care options here.
How much does PRP microneedling cost?
Pricing varies by area treated and whether it’s a single session or a package — book a consult or call 305-466-9268 and we’ll give you a real number instead of a guess.
What is the Aerolase Neo Elite treatment?
It’s a laser treatment we use for things like redness, texture, and rejuvenation — gentler on the skin than a lot of older laser tech, with minimal downtime. We’ll customize settings to your skin type during your consult. See our full facial treatments menu for more options.
